PURPOSE / BACKGROUND INFORMATION:
Royal Vendors Freezers with R290 refrigeration systems may experience ice buildup below the evaporator under certain heavy-use conditions. A kit has been developed to alleviate this ice buildup in conjunction with the refrigeration controller’s defrost cycle. This bulletin explains the procedure for installing and testing this defrost kit.
