PURPOSE:
When installing a Coinco Validator, Model #BA30B, with a serial number 1795XXXXX (this is a data code for the 17th week of the year 1995) or higher, into a Merlin III vender with a 10.03 / 11.03 or lower control board, a revision 10.04 / 11.04 or higher chip must be installed to prevent any problems.
